In late 2025, I was diagnosed with Thymoma, and it was through finding that cancer that we also found I have Pancreatic Cancer as well.

I was diagnosed out of the blue with a pear-sized tumor in my chest, a thymic cancer that is rare, with only 400 people a year being diagnosed. Through the scan to measure my Thymoma, my pancreatic cancer was found, and unfortunately, it has metastasized to my liver. I do not qualify for surgery, which is the only cure for pancreatic cancer. I am terminal.

 

As of early 2026, I have gone through more than 25 chemotherapy treatments, and I will continue these treatments every other week indefinitely. I have had radiation treatments on my liver and pancreas. My oncologist has told me this will be “a marathon,” and I am ready for that fight. As long as they will treat me, I will continue to go, and I will be grateful for it.
